Any feedback on why this could be happening would help.

Hummer was running fine, the only code that came on was change oil soon but it just populated the same day this happened. While in motion Hummer just stopped accelerating, Pulled over & it will turn on but then dies. Tried to let the vehicle rest for an hour but still does the same thing. It will turn on & everything lights up it’s just as if the engine turns off & wont give power. Was able to tow it home but has anyone had this issue or knows what it could be?

 

Welcome to HF. Scan it/have it scanned for codes and post them here. Change oil is NOT a code, it is a DIC Message.

 

check your fuel pressure at the injector rail. should be no less then 45/50 psi with engine running.
