*&^%$ vacuum line clips
OK, so I'm trying to follow the instructions here: https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...acement-28763/
Pretty straightforward procedure with photos on how to replace the purge solenoid. Unfortunately, and possibly because I'm an idiot, I can't get the vacuum line clip off...the one opposite the electrical connector, towards the front of the truck. The other side I've seen before...U-shaped piece of plastic, just slide it back and pop of those hose. This one is different, and I'm sure it's easy, but it's not that easy to see in there, even with everything else disconnected. Someone give me a hint before I lose it and take the snips to that line.

Interesting vid, thanks. Looks like he had to mess with it a bit too. Looks like he was doing what I thought I was doing, so I will keep prying at it I guess.
I miss the regular old metal clamps. This "fancy" stuff irritates me.
