Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

What worked for me were the Goodyear blades on my H2, tried the cooler looking and longer lasting special blades but all were missing some areas.
Went back to the Goodyears and have 100% covering.
Sometimes better and more $$$ parts ain’t what works on Hummers.

Time to research wiper blades.

Have used Rain X blades for years. Always the premium style. Replace every fall. Never had an issue with any other vehicle.
This H2 sut is new to me. Learning this "used" vehicle.
I had the same issue with my H2 and someone on here told me to use PIAA silicone blades. I have never had a problem since putting those on. They work really well on the flat windshield. When mine were skipping and missing I was previously using Rain X wipers

Thanks. I am trying a set of Bosch Icon (rubber) today. Then on to the OEM if these don't work.

Appreciate the input. I have always had good luck with the Rain X silicone on other vehicles. Have never tried PIAA.

Good to read that others have had a similar issue and that it is "fixable". Blades are less cost than a new windshield.

Default Problem - SOLVED

Installed a set of Bosch Icon (16") today. Clear, clean, complete swipe.
I suppose I could reinstall the "new" Rain X to confirm, and or the replaced wiper arms...However, all is working as intended.

Now on to the next project.

Thanks all.

I've noticed many wiper blades come pre-curved that most windshields. That's usually the problem. Look for a set that is straight and flat in the package.

Very Good Thread... "Z" man nice posting and info. Did not know that PIAA made blades. Thought they were mainly into Off Road lighting. I have a set of 4 PIAA Off road lamps on the Hummer Brush Guard. I'll have to check out the PIAA Wipers. Using Rain X now. Minor miss's . But I like the idea of STOCK GM HUMMER H2 blades.

Good thread.
