Haven’t seen anyone else’s like this and was also wondering where i can get a better one as well i have to press the top when pressing button to change shifts. It just looks bad

 

The internal lever from the button to the vertical shaft part is apparently broken and that was the prior owners solution.

Edit - thought I had one but apparently I sold it already sometime back.

You need to just get a replacement handle. They are pretty pricey....

If you buy a used one watch the year. Mine is 2006 and there are two set screws holding it in place. I don’t see them on this one?

the two set screws face the front. towards the onstar module. you can put it in gear to see them better.

2 options cross years. 15808173 03-07 & 15848861 05-07.

 

I prefer 1 set screw out of sight like on my 3, 2 set screws for the angry drivers to see.

 

Are we allowed to judge you? For the fact that you brutalized, what looks like an H2 with rare special edition furniture, with filthy grime? This should be illegal, LOL!
