Hi guys hopefully someone can enlighten my situation. Went to an indy that owns a Hummer and was told my transmission needs a rebuild. Just to be sure I've asked around alot and I've heard alot of different things. My H2 still drives for over a year now w/ 1st and 2nd park and reverse. I only use it around town at 30miles an hour but is it possible that there could be just a bad valve or silinoid in the transmission thats not allowing it to go from 2nd to 3rd.

FYI:my fluid looks fine, smells fine. Once it has to shift into 3rd it just slides right out of gear all together!

 

Time for a rebuild.
