Default Wheel and Tire size opinions wanted

It’s about time for some new tires and I’m thinking about just swapping out the whole setup for something with a lot more sidewall. I’m currently running on these 37x12.5r20 ridge grapplers on a 20 inch fuel cleaver 2 piece wheel. I’m not entirely sure what the offset or backspacing is on this wheel.

I really like the style of the wheel and found fuel has the same style 1 piece wheel with a 1 offset in a 17x9 size. I’d like to wrap them in a 37x12.5r17 Toyo r/t trail tire since that is the cheapest, has good quality and a 45000 mile warranty! The other option I have is the ridge grapplers in a 37x13.5r17 with no warranty, a worse speed rating and costs about $200 more for the set of four.

What would you guys do? I’m really going for the “meatball” tire look and I’d like to be able to air them down considerably for offroad (10-15psi). My two worries are
1. The Toyo with a 12.5 width won’t give me enough “meatball” look.
2. The ridge grapplers in a 13.5 will rub too much and not last as long as the toyos.

I have no lift. I’d be open to cranking the keys if I have to an inch or so. Current tires only rub at full lock while hitting a large bump.
If the toyos look meaty enough that’s my preference.

Also will this wheel look goofy in a 17? I haven’t found any pics of 17x9 cleavers with this lug pattern and am worried the spokes might look goofy.

another note is the toyos for the 17s are $500 cheaper per set than the nittos for my current wheel. And the 13.5r17 nittos are $300 cheaper. 12.5r17 nittos are only 200 cheaper. Tire pricing is wild. Im paying $1,616 vs $2,116 for MORE TIRE… and a warranty… and a 14mph higher top speed rating.

im currently running on stock H2 ( no lift kits ) 37-12.5-17 Toyo mud tires, excellent tires, low noise, great on highway or off-road,won’t float in pouring rain at 80 miles an hour, had nitto M/T before, they wore down quick on highway use, even with swapping every 3k miles, very light rubbing on very tight turns, but over all
I’m really happy with the TOYO Tires, I put the Toyo M/T on our H3 also, deep lugs, self cleaning 10 ply and feel very comfortable on any surface…
