So we covered this alot on this board. I'm getting close to removing my Passenger side mirror glass to in stall new motors. I have been looking for the best way to do this without cracking the original gass as it's coated for High Beams. I did by a regalement Mirror for the passenger side and it is heated just in case I break the original, but it's not coated and I think it is not shaped for the passenger side as the factory ones have a Left and right bend shape in them

This guy in the Video uses a 9/16th in wrench to pop the mirror lose using the boxed end. Seems like a Good way to pop it lose without breaking it. He is doing it on a 2005 model. Have you found a safer way or a better way of doing this? Have a Video you can link here. Thanks...Here's mine. Thanks

Yeah I'm sure It Does Pop Right Out.... But I don't Jump Out Of Perfectly Good Airplanes either as I'm a "LEG" Only you and I know what that means. I Know I'll use a Pair of Jump Boots and bash the rear to make it Pop Out.

Nah Creepy.. It's a 65 with a BB 502 and MSD EFI and a Tremec 5 speed. Yor GS with a Huffer is cool.... Also had an 86 With a Vortec SC and Doug Nash Stock 4+3 Tranny. Thanks For the Salute... I was Combat Engineers 66-67 VN . Pulled the 11 Bravos out of deep do do they always managed to get into. Got F-up and am Disabled Also 100%.

Edit: Yeah I saw that one. Thats a replacement of the complete mirror arm. I just want to change out the Tilt Pan Motor in the head. All I have to do is pop the Mirror Glass out with out F-ing it up so I can change the pan tilt motor behind the Mirror..

 

Thanks Z Man.. I wish I could see a 2009 take out. I guess it simular. I would like to have a sare as I have said. Just incase I F it up. But..There are none available. One thing I did learn is that the driver and passenger side glass are different as the glass is bent a different way do to the fact that the driver is further away from the passenger side Vs the Driver side. So they are different. "Calm Down I Must"
