Torsion bar help
So I have a truck that’s got a Duramax conversion done by predator and the front end has a strong rake due to the extra eight it’s been carrying for a few years now. I think getting a fresh pair of torsion bars will do the trick for me, but I’ve heard where people decide to go with some beefier ones over the oem replacements. I’ve heard talk of people using some 2500 or 3500 torsion bars but haven’t actually seen it after searching around. Anyone got any advice on some torsion bars or know anything about the fitment of some meant for the Duramax in the chevys and gmcs?
I think you may need to upgrade the torsion bar keys to level it out.
Here is a link to DMAX store with info.

Our torsion bars are heavy duty btw.
Did you contact Predator and ask Paul?

I believe you have a 6" lift kit already. It is possible that you might be able to tighten the front torsion keys a little bit or even go to re-indexed torsion keys but that generally comes at the expense of a much stiffer ride quality in the front and more rapid wear and stress on the front suspension. With a 6" lift already another good option might be to just get slightly smaller spring spacers for the rear instead which would still keep it with a very significant lift overall and just bring the read down an inch or two. This would also have the benefit of not screwing around with the front suspension which can be much more complicated to keep everything "just right" and in good alignment.

Had no idea there were smaller spring spacers for our H2's. I'll have to search for something like that as I would like to drop the rear of mine only an inch or so to level it out. Not wanting to turn the torsion bars up for various reasons. I did a search a while back and did find shorter rear springs but they dropped the rear around 2", too much for what I want. I just want level or slightly raised front.
I am running the 2009 20" H2 wheels with 37's.
Speaking about the OP's setup... Can't remember where (might have been on the FB group) that you posted that yours already has a 6" lift (Fabtech). But anyways I've just looked at a pic of that kit, those do just use different coil springs, not spring spacers. I think usually spring spacers are probably only for smaller rear lifts of like 2 to 4 inches. If your lift just used taller springs you might just need to find different rear coil springs. That might take a bit more digging. Maybe try contacting Fabtech Motorsports? They might be able to recommend something.
On your Zenith - the same applies. If you have rear coil spring spacers which is what all of the "levelling" kits use then yes you could just find a set that is a bit shorter. If stock without spacers now then not much you can do.
