Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

..... But look at the bright side, it's so heavy you could probably do 150 mph and not go airborne

But ....If you opened a window at that speed ...You'd be sucked out by explosive decompression .......

That's too slow when driving on interstates around here! Drive the speed+ with the traffic to avoid tailgating.

I would definitely get a tuner and turn off that speed limiter. For such a heavy vehicle, I do have to admit I was surprised how stable it was when I ran it up to 90 mph out in the desert. One of those roads where you can see several miles in front and behind you. Wasn't interested in going any faster, but noted the vehicle felt more than willing to keep going. And that's with an lq4 engine in stock trim. I can definitely see the 6.2 wanting to run even more. But common sense prevails.... Stopping distance at those speeds with this much weight are probably pretty lousy.
But.... For people who live in places like West Texas or The Dakotas, you do need to cover vast amounts of real estate with mind-boggling straight sections of freeway with little to no traffic.

I must say the H2 is unbelievable stable at high speeds, and did find myself at the upper end of speed one day outrunning a hail storm in my 08 while on I-25. I successful stayed ahead of the storm but in hindsight it really wasn't smart on my part. And yes for those wanting to know the 08/09 H2 can in fact break the 100mph mark. And like MarkR said I wouldn't even think about trying to open a window. lol I imagine the 05-07 would do the same, it would only take it longer.
