Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Should I consider buying a H2 with 210k miles?

Depends on a number of items, does it drive? Any issues with the engine or transmission or the transfer case? These will be the most expensive items to consider. Is it rusty under? Break lines, are they rusty? For 7k I would buy it just to restore and upgrade.

my truck has 216k and the way i have it maintained i would buy mine in a heart beat. all its demons have been exercised. i will not find another as sorted as what i have. it has a few blemishes but mechanically it's trouble free.

Keep shopping, I just picked up an 07 for 13.5k in great shape with 110k, and an 05 for 17k with 100k mint, keep shopping around, I found mine on offer up and one on craigs list. Alll I have to do is all the fluids and 1 CV joint.

I guess it depends on the price and if you like the colors. My 03 has almost 250k on it and I’d get in it and drive across country if I had to. The body parts are getting expensive but the engine and transmission are the same as the Silverado/Sierra/Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade/etc so there are many replacement parts available. Even the seats in the gen 1 h2s are the same as a Tahoe. I just got an 08 H2T, it is a huge upgrade over the early h2s but it’s still an old car now. It’s only got 120k on it but still requires maintenance that you wouldn’t have with a new car, and now parts are getting hard to find on that one because some of the systems were specific to the H2 but only for the 08 and 09 years. The early h2s are super easy to work on swap stuff.
