Replacement seat upolstry
My 08's driver seat bottom is getting a bit worn and I would like to replace it.
There are 2 vendors Master, and Richmond that sell factory matched replacements. These are not covers but actual leather replacements. Both advertise premium leather though Richmond is $100.00 more for the same thing?
I am wondering if anyone here has any experience with either. There is nothing available from GM (no surprise) and I have visited local auto upholstery no one really wants to do just the drivers seat bottom so I need to find the best and closest match I can.

Check out Katzkin - They used to make new upholstery for the H2, so they have the templates and then you can request customizations. The quality is VERY good. It is actually a bit more comfy than the original. It is a full replacement for your OEM material... NOT A COVER. Looks like they don't have the H2 listed online any longer, but select Don't See My Option, and request it.
Here is a

A few years ago, had my local GM dealer do a search and we found a dealer with a drivers side leather bottom cover and another dealer with a drivers bottom seat foam cushion. Had my local dealer get them in for me. My seat is still great, but it's so nice to know that I have an OEM replacement when the time comes.
There is a company in Texas - I am thinking that may by Richmond. I have used them several times in the past, Seat leather covers are just about an exact match. I am very fussy & these tick all the boxes. Installation is pretty easy - pull the seats from rig and its an easy swap out. TIP* buy the seat warmer pads on amazon - the seat bottoms on existing have these sewn on. I would also do the seat foam IF you can find.... I think they are getting very difficult to find now. Take your time when cutting out where seat control goes. Will make your seats like new again.
Scratch amazon for the seat heaters... here is part number for seat warmers (bottom) Dorman 641-105. They seem to be pricey now - think I paid like $40 each years back...
