I have seen H2s with chrome cowls for sale. Were these sold at dealerships like this back in the day? I want to buy a H2 but it has a chrome cowls and I know I’ll have I’ll have to track down the original paint matching cowls. Thanks!
PUTCO used to sell a lot of H2 Chrome accessories, I would not let those stop me from a good purchase. Maybe they could be scuffed and painted body color.
Agree - Pick the right vehicle and then do the updates. You can get color matching cowls on eBay. Every color eventually ends up on eBay as H2s are parted out. There are over a hundred listed in a variety of colors.
Be more concerned about frame rust. If no rust and interior/exterior nice, you can easily reverse the cosmetic adds. Those literally pull right off (4 clips) straight up. Definitely aftermarket add- none had that as standard.
Thanks for follow up boys. Looking into buying 3rd H2. Good tips on eBay. +1 for no rust. My new SUT has light rust Turing into a real pain the rear. Just picked up some dewalt tools, die grinder and angle grinder. . Should make things much easier. Cheers
