hey guys i bought a relay kit for my hid and i am about to install that but was wondering the recommended ground points? i think i have to extend the ground and the power wire because i dont think i could find any good ground near the grill of the hood etc and the headlamps

look at the drivers side tow hook. you will see the ground bolt.

 

You need a test light, basic tool for doing wiring. One end to the positive battery cable and probe around for where you would prefer to find a ground before running a wire clear down to a chassis ground. Just my opinion.
