Default HID kit that works!

Hey just thought I'd give everyone a heads up about a HID retro-fit kit that works. I just finished installing a H13 bi-xenon kit from PilotHID.com and it works seamlessly with low beams, high beams, and the DRLs. It uses a wiring harness and relay to trigger the ballasts. 2 grounds to hook up and a positive to the battery, the rest is plug and play.

The DRLs low voltage is enough to trigger the relay effectively making the DRL function run the HIDs at full power.

Are they true bi xenon meaning there are two ballasts per headlight and in each fixture there is two gas chambers that ignite. Or is it one xenon fixture and the high beam is a halogen bulb?

If you check the website as I did there are both options....hi/lo bi-xenon and a hi/lo halogen/xenon! Seems to be a good site! Check it out!!!!!!

Yeah it's a true bi-xenon kit with dual filaments and gas chambers in the bulbs. One ballast per bulb. The only problem I had was they sent me the 8000k bulbs instead of the 6000k that I ordered. I tried the 8000k but I would have been happier with the 6000k. If you start getting into bulbs that show color(bluey crap) it starts to limit visibility on the highway. Pure white is better.

I'll see if I can take a couple of long exposure pics in the next few days of how they light up the road on low and high beam.
