Noticed this slotted plate today on front suspension and curious as to what it is. I've never seen anything like it before. No problems (that I am aware of), just trying to continue my daily learning process. TIA
That is used for the front end alignment. Nearly all vehicles have them, just not always easily seen on many. It is slotted with the curve so that the UCA can be pushed in/out at that point during alignment.
