Default Oem injectors vs ?

Hey everyone... I'm in the process of picking up some maintenance part for my H2... the ac delco fuel injectors are getting hard to come by and the ones I found are pretty expensive...

Has anyone replaced theirs with any other brands? I know Delphi makes a lot of the parts but I haven't taken mine out yet to see if they are or not...

Thanks in advance

Injectors and their flow data is critical, if you don't go with the exact GM injectors then you'll need someone to go in and update the data in the PCM unless you get exact replacements from a reputable source

There are a number of companies that can take your injectors rebuild them and then flow match them. Here's one: https://fuelinjectorconnection.com/p...jector-service

Keep note of the numbers on them and were they came out

I bought a set of Standard ignition brand injectors from O'reilly's. Didn't have to change anything in the tune. Its been 3 years now with no issues.

Gavin, I am actually very surprised everything runs perfectly. I have done a number of LS engines in the past and can tell you every one I replaced injectors on required re-coding the fuel injectors and running balance and trim ECM functions. This really helps with rich and lean conditions on these engines.

Personally I would not even consider replacing LS injectors until I reach at least the 150k mark and then only if there is a problem verified with the Tech II. Now the caveat, HP mods and doing something that requires larger injectors and higher fuel flow.

With that said if you still have your old injectors you should consider sending them out to be re-certified, genuine GM fuel injectors are getting difficult to get and REALLY expensive! People go nuts for them on the LS forums.

Gavin, you sparked my interest, you have a supercharger correct?
The setup you have uses the stock injectors, if so I find that interesting as with my upgrades, if I remember correctly I'm pushing the injectors to over 90% duty cycle at 6200 rpm's.

Just curious,

Pretty regular with the 4;56 gears and all the engine upgrades, it actually runs surprisingly well for a square box

Thanks everyone, I suspect one or more of my injectors are leaking, so I was looking into replacement, maybe once I have a new set I can send the originals out for rebuild. I just said screw it and finally found 8 oem ones... thanks again
