Next H2 up for Duramax
#62
So your looking at one 40 hour week 9am-5pm if 98% of the stuff is in stock on shelves and everything is ready to go. That’s driving the h2 in shop with the 6.0 gas junk and driving out shop with the 6.6 Duramax.
Your looking at a 40 hour work week taking the donor truck apart rebuilding or resealing motor, cleaning parts
painting parts, pressure washing drivetrain and waiting on machine shop for heads. So 2 weeks. 80 hours. From a-z.

Incredible amount of work you accomplished in 40 hrs. I wish our dollar was better. I would entertain shipping mine to you for the conversion.
What are your plans for this one?

I plan on selling it

That looks really nice! I would love to drive it. You ever think about putting a few Duramax badges on it? Lol. So what is your price point? I don’t know what it would take to get it smog legal in Nevada other than paying Predator 28k. What do you have to do for Florida? It looks really clean and I think you did an amazing job on it in 40 hours! Takes me 40 hours to make a list

Florida Don’t enforce there smog laws. They don’t inspect vehicles. But if u want it smog
legal which is no fun at all. It would need an egr, Cat, and muffler, and prolly detuned to pass
a smog test. But I don’t know because I live in Florida and They don’t care about smog.
the up pipe that feeds the egr is welded closed.

That's my problem in AZ as well. They DO inspect every damn thing on the vehicle during emissions testing. I would never pass with a conversion which is really annoying because I would love a conversion! Speaking of that, my tags are due at $170 for one year, plus the $20 for emissions testing. Talk about highway robbery in this ****ty state for a 13 year old vehicle
