Default Need urgent help .. Huge electric problem

I was installing the led work lights , test it and all worked good
few min later notice the DRL weren't turning when the alarm was on/off (which usually did)

For worse when start testing the battery wasnt charging and also the truck turn off 2 sec after engine start

All this was intermittent , ... Also notice the alarm is not locking the doors and the remote start works intermittent too

Only thing I can think , I tried to drill the rubber which runs the wires thru the firewall ( this was stupid) , Im 99% sure I didnt hit any wire , also 50% sure all started even before the drill thru the rubber

If anyone can point at any thing to check

Btw the alarm is a clifford ( could that be the problem ?)

Thank you in advance

Update : problem isn't intermittent anymore . I doesn't start . Also shows service 4w . Battery not charging on dash display Etc . Interior Lights doesn't work either .

I'm leaning to the alarm problem or the pcm ... not sure what else to do or start to check

I double checked everything and I guess the problem was that I connected the relay main power supply to the DRL relay leg 87 . I replaced the relay for another and nothing .
Could a high load damage the pcm or any other part thru the Drl connection
Is there a fuse fo the ignition
when turn the key the engine try to start but in 1 sec it turn off
NOt sure what else to check

PLEASE ANY HELP HIGHLY APPRECIATE

Did you try un-doing the led work you just completed? Disconnect those leds and return everything back to the way you started. That's what I would do.

Hi Mule

I disconnected everything since the problem started . Also disconnected the batt for a while . Checked most of the fuses
Nothing seems to work
Im guessing is either the connection for the Led to the Drl mess the Pcm or I mess the wires thru the firewall while trying to pass the new wire thru the grommet.

Im going to end getting th truck to the dealer .

Unbelievable a led lights connection made all this mess

Damn, sorry to hear about that, sounds like a royal PITA. Only problem i had which was electrically problematic was a faulty rollover sensor, or connection to it. I think using a stealer's diagnostic tools is probably the way to go there. Hope you get it fixed!

Im not sure what do you mean with stealer's diagnostic tool
I used the scan but didnt get any code . Maybe could be an alarm issue or maybe cause the pcm was fried
Im going to the dealer now . Let see what came out . I domt know if scare me more the issue with the truck or get to know the dealer price . Usually they are not cheap in any way

I meant when i had system probs with my '09 (total loss of radio/cruise control/heater controls) - the dealer ran a diagnostic, and the only fault they could find was the rollover sensor wasn't working properly.

Everything else was ok. Hpefully they'll be able to run the same diagnostic check on yours to identify any module that's not working as it should. Thats all.

I didnt know about this sensor. Hopefully is something "simple"
I dont think the pcm was fried cause I used a cheap OBD scan and it connected to the pcm without any code . But the most important part it connected and recognized the pcm and all the sensors

I stopped at the dealer today amd guess what 1 week to get the appointment to check the truck . It is one of the best places in the area to take your truck.
I spoke with the guy and he told me to bring it tomorrow so as soon he got a chance they will take a look at it .
Also Im goimg to get a full inspection for tge sunroof leaking and a preventive mantenience. Maybe replace the fuel pump and injectors Flush transmission etc.
I guess I will need the rental car a little longer than planned

I replied to your other thread but with basically the same info posted here.

I cannot see how in any way installing some LED lights would damage anything. What does the relay have to do with anything regarding installing LED lights??

EDIT: Nevermind that question above, I saw your other thread about installing lights. I would personally NEVER install lights by running off the factory relays. You should be using complete separate relay harnesses for each set of lights and using a signal wire from the headlights, DRL's, or whatever you want to activate the separate relay and turn the lights on.

It only takes one small mistake to fry a computer when you start messing with wires in the fuse box.
