Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Hi I’m new to the forum but I have a 2004 hummer h2 and I believe my instrument cluster has broken been looking into getting a replacement but all I see is repair
I would like it if I was told where I could buy a replacement. Also I want to know where to get a rear coil springs
i had to use a 2003 chevy taho cluster board to repair my 2003 h2 cluster and have the eprom swapped so my milage and features where correct. the cluster board is the same but the housings are totally different. do not break the h2 housing.
but what issue does your cluster have? they only usually need resoldering for PNRDL issues or the stepper motors for the gauges go bad. in my case the LED backlight mod fried the main logic chip.

I figured it out. It wasn’t a problem with the cluster board as much as it is with the battery apparently whenever the battery’s dead, you don’t get no power to anything even though the battery is saying 12 V it’s not showing up any lights on the dash so we ended up jumping thank you for your thing.

not trying to slit anyone’s throat and minimize you finding a cluster for your hummer but I have a 03 h2 the same color as yours and I’m wanting to do and thought this was possible. I called the dealership and they said they were on factory back order.
my question is I want to do what you did I’ll go buy a brand new one if possible. I have the ability to program by way of passthru why do I need to pull a chip out of my old one

I just reread again I see why you pulled the chip. If I buy a new one I think it will let me swap the miles if im thinking right through tech line connect. Right?
i am not sure if tech line will do it as i did not own a tech 2 at the time. all i had was want and will to fix it. swapping my eeprom was the only thing i could do as i also did not have a programmer even though you can get them for like 12 bucks from china now. i had a hot air rework station at the time available.
