Just bought this. Guy before me though the cluster was bad replaced it with new cluster no luck.

Cluster will work fine then suddenly you will start it and nothing works not even the hi beam indicator. Turn signal indicators do work though.
Then randomly it starts working again when you start it.

Thoughts?

 

My guess would be water ran behind the dash at some point and corroded a ground or the BCM or possibly a bad ignition switch.

 

Ok. The carpet is wet in the driver's floor. I've noticed tat when the instrument cluster does work on startup there seems to always be about a two second pause after startup then all instruments jump to life.
