Several of us have replaced them with alternatives. If you just want DRL's then those are massive overkill. If you want to use the halo's as the DRL's and add driving light functionality then you have to add additional wiring, switch, relay, etc or get a Tahoe rear wiper switch that also came with fog lights. I've done that route, even using the factory fog light relay we have (it is non-functional since H2's do not have fog lights) and did a write up on it which you can search and find. No way to enable the factory control on your BCM though so you have to use an aftermarket latching relay module to trigger the underhood factory relay. The other catch is there are almost no lights that are as large as our stock comically gigantic DRL's and there is nothing that will just bolt on. So you will have a nice gap around the edge and will need to fabricate some way to mount them. Plenty of threads on here where members have come up with various solutions to replace them.

 

I am having these installed now. It’s been at the shop for a week since I’m getting Led Bars,Underlighting,Head Unit,TV’s & these lights. The installer said that he had to do some custom stuff to get them to fit. But I saw them in and they look amazing. I will post pictures when I get the truck back.
