Double check the arrangement of your cats. Mine split off before the muffler and are considered a 2 into 2. Two separate tubes go into muffler.

There is another style that is combined. Has a different Dynatech part number.

I am looking at getting the same headers you got and I want to get this Borla exhaust.

Do you know if the part number you got for the cats will fits this? I see the 2 on the muffler, just want to make sure. You installed this right?

Love this man! I know it's years later and this is a long shot but do you have the parts numbers for these? I'm looking to also help on the highway and I think these would be a great addition. On the dynatech website I can't seem to find them but maybe somewhere else has them? No worries if you don't see this but thank you for sharing either way!

Right! If you can find em. I did but I'd have to check my files. Don't bother though, I researched for ever on these and they don't make em anymore and I couldn't find em anywhere, even used. The closest I came was I was going to have a custom shop make some and he said he would, never got around to it yet cause I had to put new rims, tires and all four shocks on. Did get the Borla exhaust too, that was worth it. I think he said the shop in Texas, I think its Texas speedway was gonna just duplicate Dynatechs specs for me, still gotta call them. I think I called Kooks and they couldn't do it from what I remember. Its too bad, cause I got a set of Kooks on my TA....BEASTLEYYYY!! IF YOU FIND EM ANYWHERE LET ME KNOW. What year you got? You got a lift? Where you from? Good luck.

Hey man thank you for the fair warning, from the digging I did it's looking like I may have to dish out for the magnaflow cats, just seeing if it's worth it to have them welded in place of the old or just go ahead and get the kit. also looking for the right headers. I don't want to spend more then 2k on the exhaust but at this rate I don't think that's possible lol. I have an 05 with a muffler delete. I recently put the trucknorris cam in and redid the top end along with high volume oil pump. I don't have a lift but I do have a leveling kid and redid the whole front end with kryptonite and moog components, also redhead steering box. I'm rocking 315 km3 mud terrains on razorback rims from black rhino and I love how they look. I'm from North Georgia but haven't gotten much of a chance to a whole lot of trails out here. How about you man?

im getting ready to do headers as well theres no definite way not to break bolts but can we talk about best methods to try to minimize bolts breaking. im guessing try to break bolts loose with engine hot? obviously spraying days before with penetrating fluid any brands in particular? i really hate to open up a can of worms because I have no broken bolts or exhaust leaks

thanks

A great tip I got before I pulled the heads was to go slow and if you start feeling more resistance than you're comfortable with, go ahead and tighten it slightly. This small movement can break up the rust just enough to have it come out without breaking. That and plenty of penetrating oil, don't be afraid to spray the oil on overnight and give it plenty of time to soak. Patience is key, you got it!
