Default hummer H2 Radio update

Hello everyone I recently purchased an 03 Hummer H2 and would like to update the head unit to something with apple car play and navigation etc. I don’t know too much about it but do have someone who could install it for me. I found a pioneer head unit on ebay for around $400, would this be a good option and would I need to purchase anything else to get this installed correctly. Thank you in advance

you will need a different interface as the H2 has both Onstar and a BOSE amplified radio. the pac unit they are supplying does not work for that or retain steering controls for the radio

PAC LCGM24 Retains all Safety Warning Chimes when the Factory Radio is Replaced for non-amplified GM vehicles without Onstar

you would need something like the
PAC RP5-GM11 Wiring Interface
you can check with crutchfield they also have both the radio and the interface. if you buy them together the pac unit will be cheaper then buying it alone. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_130140...H-1400NEX.html they also guaranty everything they sell and have tech support as opposed to ebay.
i think for a few bucks they also make the harness for you so it is plug and play call them if you have questions.

Here is a write up I did on mine- Plus its shallow depth so you do not have to molest the dash supports to be able to fit all the adaptors.

I highly recommend this one.
