H3 Radio/CD/Nav. System Question
Hi Gang,
I have a 2006 H3 with the radio/CD/navigation system.
The unit is pooched and I'd like to find another (same)
I'm having trouble searching for a H3 OEM unit.
Does anyone know if the exact same OEM GM radios with nav. went into any other make/type vehicles that I could include in my search?
Any help is always greatly appreciated.

You may already know this, but the actual part number was changed awhile back.
My 07 head unit was P/N 15883298 and it was superseded by P/N 25846054
I replaced my entire head unit after some screen problems and the unit the dealer got for me had the new P/N.
You may have to do a serious search to find a new-ish head unit and I doubt whether any will be new. Posting here is certainly a good start, many on this forum have changed out their head units to different aftermarket units.
Good Luck

Sadly, no.
There were a few Cadillacs that had similar units, but they may have had different connectors on the back.
My unit also had the Sirus/XM and that may have made it more unique.
When my dealer did find a unit that worked (and still does) the so called list price was just over a grand, but I got the unit for $725.00. and they coded it to the vehicle.
I figured a good after market unit would have cost as much.
You could visit your GM dealer and explain you situation, they may have some returned units or have some ideas. That won't cost anything to try.

Those yards are in B.C. and I'm in Ontario (kinda like New York to Oregon ) but I'll check out some salvage yards in this area also.
