That's correct, bcm through radio, chimes out drivers speaker. You could remove the drivers speaker to stop the chime.

However you will have to repeat every 20 minutes to reset RAP.

On a side note, I always leave my keys in the ignition when on a job site. I access my tools/supplies through all the doors, except drivers (I can't put tools there). No chime even with the key in the off position as long as the drivers door is closed.

I didn't miss the point?

Let me give you the steps, so you know how I rock my rig:
1-Open all windows, including sunroof.
2-Turn ignition key to acc position(1 click from lock, 1 click before on)
3-CLOSE DRIVER DOOR!
4-OPEN ALL OTHER DOORS!
Now, you can rock the neighborhood, without CHIMES!
