The hood on my 2005 H2 used to pop up with releasing the interior latch, but now it doesn't.
My hood looks like it does not open, but it does. Luckily, I have long monkey arms, so I can stand outside with the door open, release the latch and use my fingers to lift the hood up just enough to unhook it.
I want to replace the cable, but I cannot find one. I did recently replace the mechanism, but the problem still exist.
There must be some kind of pressuring device that push up on the hood to pop the hood up, out of the mechanism, but I cannot find it or figure it out.
