Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default Hey Neal..?? "TQ"

Got me the junked up housing from Flea Bay with a good mirror from an 2007 H2. The mirror motor is frozen and the mirror is centered in the housing. Got the plugs and wiring and I know it's different as I looked in my 2000 Manual and wiring colors are different.

Any way Got the open close motor to work and it closed the arm.I was just probing with 12 Volts and got it to shut. But now It will not opened and I tried all the different combos........ and the other plug for the Pan tilt motor but got nothing,

Anyway... Could you look up the 2007 Passenger side Mirror and tell me which COLOR wires get the 12 + - Volts to "A" Pan left and right...And "B" which color Wires get the 12 Volts + - to get the tilt up and down.?

I need to get the mirror in the tilt down position and pan inbound. Since you have the online thing that's a lot easier then my falling apart 3.....4 inch manuals...L.O.L

Thanks Neal.

EDIT:

Ok.. I just got hosed...LMAO. Not too ashamed to admit that in my haste to grab a good deal on the $100 Mirror with busted arm top, that there was more to the story. Looks like someone broke the mirror and got another mirror from who knows where that is the same size as the H2 mirror LES THE BACK PLATE AND HEATER Element. It even says the Objects in the mirror ...Blah ...Blah.. Blah. Anyway. The Pan tilt motor does not work.

So what they did was to RTV the Mirror Glass onto the Pan Tilt motor. It's just a Mirror glued onto the P&T motor....LMAO. So I used my suction cup unit and gave it a hard pull. And the Mirror came right out with one half of the P&T motor still attached to the Mirror....Double LMAO.

So back to square one. I will not attempt to remove mine until I find either a Complete Arm and Mirror assembly ..Or the correct mirror to have as a F-up spare.
So Neal.. Hold up on that search for the color code.

Thanks:

Regards: Mark

Hey Mark, Mirrors for the H2 are a real pain and finding a good used one is just as bad.

This is the way of the future for us H2 owners and will separate the true lovers for these vehicles from the casual wannabe H2 owners.

Just wait until you try to find an Active Brake Controller for an 08/09. lol

Yeah I hear yah. all I need is the Mirror with the back plate and heater element intact. I did find that the passenger side mirror does not have the coating that dims down high beams. Now what I would like to know is ...is the mirror from an 07 the same as 08 and 09? Just the Mirror Glass and has the same backing plate with the same connecting fingers?. If it is then I can buy an 07 complete used and pop the mirror out and keep that as a spare when I attempt to remove my 09 mirror. As far as the break controller... Maybe one of these on line junk yards might be the way to go.

Your thoughts ?? Anyone... Buler...Buler...Buler....
