Hi fellow Hummer lovers. I have a 2003 H2 and I have owned this beast since 1/2018. I have felt heat from the floor board since day one. Even had everything under the hood redone. Is it just my vehicle or is this common in Hummers because of the engine size?

 

What is under the floor board? How many miles on it? When was the last time the trans fluid and filter were changed? What is the temp the trans fluid when up to full operating temperature?

 

I'd also be curious if one of the heat shields are missing. Maybe one was rattling and someone just ripped it out instead of adjusting it. I know there is even a TSB on some heat shield rattling when in reverse where GM instructs dealers to put about 6mm of washers behind it to space it a bit away from whatever it is that it hits.

 

Have you confirmed your climate control is working correctly and you don't have a warm air blend door issue?
