Default H2 Tail Light wire ID (pic included)

Can some one tell me which wire connects to which function on top? The top portion of the tail light controls the brake and night time running lights. What does the Red, Lt. Blu and Grn w/Blk Stripe connect to? My replacement connector has 3 wires too one marked Ground one marked Major one marked Minor.

Id have to say green=ground, red=major,lt. blue=minor. I would just get a cheap test light to make sure the red one has power when you step on the brakes.

Yeah, I did just that and got it working the way it should, looks good and very happy. Thanks for the post. I just poked a hole in the wire with a test light probe and went through the sequence.

Did you put a dab of silicone over the spot where you poked the wire? If not it's a good idea to do so. Glad you got it figured out.
