Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

It does look badass. I just avoided the 6 in lift cuz the COG is already high. I've been on 2 wheels offroad before and if I had a 6 in lift and 42s, it would've been goodnight.

its not so bad with wider track from lift and offset on rims but does get hairy sometimes. i put the 6 inch lift as well as truxx lift with 3 inch body. 42s rubbed with only 6 inch got no problems now.

Any issues wheeling with the truxx lift??
I'd love to do it and get another inch or 2 but I'm afraid of the cv angles.
With 42s, I'm sure your cvs are stressed already

Default Rim size

[QUOTE=h2offroad;322523]Over the almost 2 years Ive owned my h2, I've read probably every thread on every forum about hummer h2s.

99% of my research told me that 40s require a minimum of 6 inches of suspension lift.

I'm making this thread because I am successfully running and offroading 39.5" iroks on my hummer h2.
related mods include: 3" body lift, 2" wheel spacers.
that's it. Stock gearing, stock rims.

The v8 has plenty of power to turn these monsters and the transmission handles it perfectly. I do kinda baby it on the road, but offroad I beat the hell out of it. i have had 0 problems so far with tie rods an
