Need more info! Did you drop the pan and forget to refill it? Brand new trans that is bone dry? Fluid not showing on the dipstick? What's the story?

The trany line to the radiator came off while driving, the truck stopped moving, but I had the truck running for an hour waiting for AAA for AC and music After being towed to the nearest gas station I added 7 quarts of fluid to fill to proper level. The truck was moving fine an after but 30 min later trany started slipping, I haven't started it since. Also, I used standard automatic fluid, NOT VI when adding the 7 quarts. I'm trying to figure if I drop the pan and pump all fluid out the converter, change all the fluid will I be good.

I am in shock that you would run the truck for an hour with the tranny line off. I would say, don't waste your money on more fluid and start shopping for a trans rebuild. That hour with the AC running just cost you. $2500.

Was an hour of "AC and music" worth $3000+?

Do you think that no part of the transmission and torque converter move when in park?

Well thinking about it logically the transmission's job is to switch gear so if the truck is not moving the gear will not switch. But I did not think about the converters attached to the flywheel which will spin when the engine is running. SMDH

Well looks like I screwed up, Well on the bright side I'm having the trany rebuilt 4 only $ 1,300. that's right only $ 1,300 at Remco, I used my tax ID from my construction company and told them I'm a repair shop subbing them the trany job so they assume I will send them more trany work.

So your saying on a public forum that you are , Cheating the state by using your tax ID # and you are lying to the trans shop to get a better deal.

I guess New Yorkers do things different than we do in KS.
