Is this a good deal?
2004 Hummer H2 For Sale
Hello everyone,
I'm looking for an H2 to buy, I'm located in Tucson. I don't know much about the platform, but I am an amateur professional mechanic. This one apparently has some minor issues, but I don't know if what he is saying is even close to accurate. It's got just over 200k miles. What do you guys think? My budget is around 13k for this purchase, so it would be nice to nab this one and have some money left over for some modifications.
Thank you.

Looks like a nice truck. And every truck with that many miles will have some type of issue to fix. A couple of things, I had the ABS light on along with the parking light on - replaced the wheel hub assemblies (both sides) and the lights are gone. But these are not cheap and will take time to replace. Also had the fuel pump replaced which is also a lot of work as on my 05 I had to drop the tank - it’s doable to get done in a driveway. I’d say if he’s listing it to 11k you may be able to negotiate a little. Also didn’t see any pics of the under carriage, would like to see if it’s rusted, the state of the break lines, suspension etc. be prepared to put some money and time to work on the truck. You can easily put a few grand into it right away. Good luck
one last thing, do not use any cheap parts. Use only AC Delco or gm parts. It does make a big difference.

pretty much calculate about 2k for repairs after purchase for fixes hopefully it does not need tires because that will be another 1200. so subtract that from your budget. also do not forget you will have to pay registration fees and taxes on that amount as well so $$$$.
