DRL Hummer H2 Daylight Running Lights NOT working. Fuse inhood good, relay good, photocell good (headlight turns on at night).

Checked with different bulb, still NO DRL when gear is in Drive.

This is a recent as of a week or so ago issue. What else can I check to troubleshoot?

You’re right thank you! Mike Matthews at another forum also recommended the same. Cleaning up the DRL ground (on my H2 04 it’s located by the front driver body mount bushing), works to restore my DRL! (After couple of restarts).

update: alas, the joy was temporary. DRL stopped working again. Right now I’m leaning towards BCM going bad

 

Was is the ground?

 

Unfortunately still a mystery. Ground is clean & screw very tight, but the DRL still randomly turns on / off at ignition start (mostly off ☹️)

 

have you swapped the drl relay located in the main under hood fuse box? i know you said it was good but maybe it is intermittent?
