So yesterday Eve got in the vehicle to go to dinner and the oil pressure jumped to 80 PSI, I was perplexed as I swapped the sender out about a month ago with a new ac delco one, then I noticed it jumped when just the key was on too, so I figured a stepper motor, I have a good cluster and tested it "the same thing", so I'm curious has anyone had these symptoms for 80 PSI engine on or off and did you figure the issue out. I'm leaning toward it being the pigtail but any suggestions would be appreciated.

I figured it out "BAD SENSOR" I swapped in my old one and it works, wow ACDELCO sensor lasted a whole month.
