Default Driver side power window does go all the way up

Driver side power window goes down, but not completely up. Gets stuck with 3 inche gap. Any suggestions. I don't want to replace anything. Worse case scenario, I'd like to lock the window in place. Thanks everyone in advance.

any weird noises like crunching when it happened or current?

you can try thisCADILLAC/HUMMER/GM

1. Hold the switch in the up position until set in the upper channel and hold for a count of 3. Listen carefully for a click.
2. Then hold the switch in the down position until fully lowered and hold for a count of 3.
3. Confirm reset thru POWER UP and POWER DOWN feature.
4. Repeat if necessary.

Makes no u usual sound. At the same spot it stops. I tried pulling on it, while pressing the up button. Afraid to take it all the way down and be stuck in that position. I'll try what you said. Really appreciate the feedback. Anyway to lock the window in an up position. I have no need for the windows to be operational. Thanks again.

What's the best way to correct that?
