oh, so the reason I ask… There is an oily substance in my coolant reservoir tank… It was like that when I took it to the mechanic… I actually worked at a car dealership… So the service center or the ones that fixed it lol OL I thought I had a cracked head gasket because I literally got to work that morning. Put it in park turned it off and everything is spilling out from underneath it. It was a little thicker than water… Was not as clear as water… And oily.

you need to check your engine oil and your transmission fluid since the radiator shares coolers inside. your radiator might be faulty internally and mixing the fluids. antifreeze in engine oil can lead to engine bearing failure. coolant mixing with transmission fluid will lead to transmission failure. repair requires new radiator and flushes of contaminated fluids. then prayer to your entity of choice if it went for too long since you would be on borrowed time.

6.0s arent known for head gasket issues. I would say they just didn't clean the tank after replacing the radiator and flushing the coolant. If the trucks running good now I wouldn't worry. I would ask them to look at it again because if they removed the radiator, they would have removed the ac condenser. If the AC was working before they touched it, It's a 99% probability something went wrong then. Could the sensor be leaking... maybe, but I would start with what is most probable. They should have tools to diagnose a refrigerant leak.
