Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

thanks Hummerz for explaining Will 37s be to big for the H2? There class D. an hold up tad over 3525 LBs so x2 is less than the total weight of H2.

I had 37x12.5R20 Toyos on my H2, and they rubbed, after 10K miles I had to swap them out as I was always doing multi-point turns just to get it out of my garage. I felt they wallowed a bit too and I never liked the ride on the highway. Perfectly good off-road tire, as you would expect. They are too big for the H2 without a lift - they hit the plastic wheel well.

The OEM tire on my 2008 H2 is a Bridgestone All-Terrain M+S 315/70r17 Load Range D. It rubs against the front suspension if I tried to make a full turn. A little surprising that the OEM tire rubbed.

If you want tire options, check out Custom Offsets... they have a section of the site where you can see other H2s and the tires they picked.... and you can filter on no lift, no trim, and no rub... If you take a look, the majority of tires that fit the bill are 35x12.5.
See the CustomOffset gallery of H2s here
I have now had two sets of General Grabber ATX 35x12.5 and cannot be happier. Great on the highway and offroad. They do not rub.

NOTE: the 35x12.5 should not be mounted to the stock H2 wheels as they are too wide. Use TireRack or Custom Offsets to get the right wheels that fit the H2 for a 35x12.5.

The Toyos that I had to pull ...

I have the Bridgestone All-Terrain Revo 3's 315/70r17 on my 2008 H2, I have been very happy with them, they are quiet are decent in the snow and ride quality is good. On top of that no road noise. I haven't had any rub issues like Brunoboo mentioned but I am not surprised, seems no two H2's are the same with steering geometry, Different front suspension heights or rake seems to make a difference.

All I know is while the Bridgestone's may not be quiet as good as the BFG K02's the bridgestones ride better are quieter and about 1/3 the price and considering my tires on my H2 usually don't get worn out but instead run out of time and need to be replaced because of they go past the 5 year mark. Either way I would buy them again, the only other tire I would consider if Goodyear wranglers only because I have had good luck with them in the past on my Silverado 2500 Duramax.
