Blower Motor
Solving Hummer problems can be enjoyable, however often we never get to learn that all important feedback from the users, such is the nature of forums.

I will also toss this out there in regards to both the blower motor & resistor- IF you have a failure on either or both in a short period- check under the front cowl (the trim piece between the windshield and hood) it will pull up - (has retainer clips on it like the center console drink holder), along with removing the windshield wiper arms (pull clip come right off) and a couple screws if memory serves me right? Underneath the cowl, right side, is a black plastic cover (air intake for cabin) with what is now a 20 year old seal- when that seal falls off/degrades water/rain WILL enter the duct system and potentially screw up the blower motor & resistor.....It pulls up to remove (forgot exactly how) Clean up the surface and you can use rtv silicon to establish & create a new seal for that cover. Not a bad idea to check this area, the gasket was shot on mine & suspect thats what took out the blower resistor... the motor bearings also locked up - I'm sure moisture got that also, however 20 years of use- it was due regardless. When you view this for the first time- you will not believe how "cheezy" this intake design is.... water literally runs down the windshield & straight into your duct if/when that seal fails..... Check it if you notice any moisture in duct system or doing preventative maintenance...
