Default Anyone Have This Happen?

Another Wiper Thang..2009 H2 Lux ..Sometimes when the wipers are on normal low speed. They will run for a while and suddenly go into the intermittent mode. Then if you let it stay that way.. they go back to normal slow speed mode after a while.
I may have posted this before but as you get old you lose brain cells and do stupid stuff. If I have posted this before then I am brain dead. Thought maybe it's a Flat spot on the motor ???? But it runs a long time before this happens. Then sometimes it'll do it 2 min in. I don't think it' the motor. And the Turn signal stalk was replace years ago under warranty for this problem. So I think the stalk is not the problem.

There must be some module that controls the unit...GOD knows there are Modules all over the place talking to each other.

Any clues ??

I think there is a circuit board/module integrated with the wiper motor. I know many have had issues with water intrusion.

I was going to ask you if this only happens in the rain, because the common issue of water intrusion..... But I suppose I've lost some brain cells as well, as I suddenly realize we're talking about the windshield wipers :-)

Pretty sure the control board is integrated into the motor as well. I would parts cannon a wiper motor at it. Could also be the stalk itself I suppose.

y’all are making me laugh tho

FYI for what it matters, I recently I had my Diesel engine tuned up and head gaskets replaced, as the EGR deleted and removed, turbo upgraded and some more silly feds regulated stuff deleted and removed.
Now that said my wiper blades didn’t work after I picked it up, they checked and my module that is mounted under the fuse box under the hood got wet and fried.
Replacement was $340 and a few Pennie’s that now days are triple in value.
Module itself was $82 but the labor to take the complete fuse box out 🤬
Not sure where the module is hiding in the H2 though 🤷🏼‍♂️
