Default another leak issue

wow thought i solved the dreaded wet headliner leak and soaked carpet problem, replaced all cab lights last year,
I siliconed not under the gasket but where wire comes thru plastic grommet, good for a year no leaks at all.
now have at least a gallon soaked in the carpet and a lot of water on top of the rubber floor mats. just to
try and fix issue I siliconed under the gaskets, didnt help. now I guess I need to look at door weatherstrips
and maybe even the cowl? never water on drivers side, and I have gone thru 2 fan resistor packs
guessing from water leaks, does that help someone guess where my leak is,, would the cowl leak make
water come down by heater box assembly? obviously I have to be inside and let someone help me with a hose
maybe even leaking from sunroof?

the headliner is only is slightly wet above the grab handle, for the amount of water in the carpet I'm guessing
headliner would be wetter if all the water was coming thru there so maybe I have more than 1 issue

thanks

Check your sunroof drains and the plugs underneath the corner marker lights that go through the roof. Even if you silicone those, they like to shrink even more and leak again. Major pain. Sounds like sunroof drains though if its leaking that much. Make sure they're not plugged with gunk and the tray overflowing and make sure they're not broken above the headliner.

My windshield leaked i pushed on it and it moved so easily like the seal broke could be that, my antenna was loose so I pulled down headliner on that side and watched it drip there just had to tighten the nut from inside, these are 2 leaks I had that weren't the lights or sunroof, found both by pulling down headliner on wet side enough to see these, might be worth a look

compressed air might disconnect the drain lines from the sunroof housing if it is clogged. you can try weed whacker line if you have any.

I ran hose into cowl, no leaks inside, i ran hose over cab lights, didnt see anything,
i put a small diameter hose into each sunroof drain and blew with my mouth and not clogged.
put several mouth fulls of water and blew into each drain, no leaks and saw water come out of
bottom of fender. with sunroof open i put hose on low and let water run down drains
and did see some water on carpet but couldnt reproduce water doing it again.
not sure if it was one of the previous tests and I didnt see the water,
gonna rain this weekend, guess ill try to be inside and poke around
hate to disturb headliner but I guess thats gonna probably be only way to see whats going on

check your sunroof alighnment when it is fully closed it might not be sitting flush with the roof. it just takes a torqx bit and 4 screw at the corners to alighn it flush. 5 minute job.

I can’t tell you for sure where the leak might be but above Hummerheads made a lot of good things to look at.
One point was made to not blow out your sunroof drain lines, if you disconnect the drains you got to demo your sunroof.
Use instead a $7 sunroof dredger to get the junk out the lines.
Yes there is something like that and I use it bi monthly on all my vehicles with a sunroof.
