First I've been searching everywhere for information so now I ask for those who have completed an alternator upgrade, I'm looking at upgrading to a 255 amp alternator and, I'm curious what way you ran your larger 4 AWG wire back to the battery, did you run just the wire to the harness connection near the engine or did you run it through an inline fuse then back to the harness connection. Any pictures I have found look as they have just upgraded the wire which is strange as you will delete the fusible link.

Any help will be appreciated
