Need a little help please if anyone knows or has a manual.
Problem: Alternator not charging. New alternator and its good.
This salmon colored wire (indicated by the red arrow) has no voltage. If I put a jumper wire with 12v on the terminal the alternator starts charging.
See picture below.
I need to know where that wire comes from. Or can someone tell me if it is hot constantly or just when the ignition is on. I do not see a alternator light on the dash so I am assuming its just a 12v signal. If thats all it is I can run another wire from the fuse block.
But it is a single wire on the "F" terminal and according to GM the "F" terminal is only used for sending a signal to the PCM???
Does a 92 H1 even have a computer? If it does can someone please tell me where it or the data port should be?
