2007 H2 Side Mirror Assembly
Anyone have any good references on where to buy replacement mirror assemblies for both driver and passenger sides?
I've priced some internet places for about $850 for both.
Thanks,

Hey Oceanbrave,
Sorry for the late response, been offline. Well, it turns out only the driver's side is not working - "not working" meaning, the motor controls do not seem to have any input to the mirror control. The passenger's side, after tinkering with it, seems to be good to go.
Not sure if it's just the motor or what is the smallest set of parts/assembly I can replace.
Strong gusts of wind while I'm driving on the highway, are adequate to turn the mirror itself completely inward - maybe there's something I can tighten for that.
I'd just as soon replace the mirror assembly and not have to drill down into a minute issue.
Anyway, thoughts are surely welcomed!

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I know lots about the pre 2006 versions but I've never seen inside the later ones, however they are probably similar.
The mirror bezel is coupled by plastic rack-and-pinion type gears driven by the two motors. Commonly damage occurs to the plastic gears and/or the "rocking-arm" of the mirror bezel itself, unfortunately none of these bits are available as spares, except from used parts.
I shopped around on ebay and bought various bits, typically they're listed as "working" but never are, however I managed to salvage enough parts to get my mirrors working.
Before buying anything I'd take-off the mirror mechanism and see what the damage is, its even possible the the ball-sockets have become dislocated and simply need pushing back-in.
Over-zealous car-wash staff are possibly the culprits.
