Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Hello H2 enthusiasm
is there anyone had any experience of having issues with seats not able to go up an down? mine just making some cranking noise but doesn't go up anymore, it slides back an fort though.
Thank you for responding.
I remove the seat and it seems that the motor is bad. Just trying to find we're I can buy that motor and also trying to learn how to remove it it's seems very complicated.
I have attach a photo.
thannks again.
On the upper one in the picture it appears as though the metal motor housing has tabs bent in to attach it to the small gearbox. I'd double check that you get power to the connectors on each motor with a meter before you do anything just to be sure. Somewhat rare for an electric motor to fail in this sort of very light and momentary usage scenario.
I'm betting GM did not sell just the motor as a separate part. Likely the entire lower seat track assembly....
Just checked out of curiosity..... yep. One entire big part. Same "adjuster" is used in a few of the earlier full size SUV's as well. On sale for just $870.00 https://www.gmoutletparts.com/oem-pa...track-19127251 lol
Personally I'd be figuring out out to take it apart and fix it myself.
I did find 1 on ebay for $290
but i wil take it to the shop first and see if they can test it might be just wiring issue? I'm really low on knowledge fixing cars.
I do have 2, H2 and I love them.🙂
