Had these pop up on my dashboard a few times while braking. All of a sudden it would come on every time I stopped at a light. Did some checking and also found I had no brake lights either. After checking the brake light issue, I narrowed it down the the Brake light switch. I took the switch out, cleaned it, and now all my problems went away. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not, but both problems are solved. Everything has been working for 2 weeks now with no issues(knock on wood). Hope this helps others with this problem.

That is the a trait of computer controlled vehicles, it is all tied together. When the brake switch goes out, the PCM does not know that you pressed the brake pedal (H3s have no brake pedal travel sensor), but its ABS & StabiliTrack systems senses that a drag has been placed on the wheels, so it thinks something went haywire.... pops up the warning.

I had a similar problem where 'service stab sys traction failed' was permanently on.
Rarely drive the H3 so hadn't got round to fixing the problem.
I did as you suggested and discovered I didn't have brake lights either.
One of the 2 brake switches had the plunger jammed in.
Freed it up and problem's gone.
