congrats on the Alpha! 9100 is brand new wow.
I got my first Alpha last Sept and was my first diesel too. Was a learning experience with the truck overall but good info on internet for just about everything and what’s missing, the forum members have been great.
Where about are you located? I’m in SoCal and at Cars and Coffee with the Alpha most Saturday mornings.
Also, on topic of fuel, something I learned (and seems to help; feels better) is adding some diesel fuel additive EVERY fuel up. It’ll help keep things clean and lubricated. I use Power Service Diesel Kleen (gray bottle) and add a bit to both the main and aux tanks on each fuel up.

Nice! Enjoy it, I love mine.
I think if you're in cold winter there there's a white bottle version of that diesel fuel additive (if going with same company) for colder weather.
Would be great if there was a shop or some members up by you to meet/discuss.
