I thought I had posted this thread just a second ago but I guess it didn't save. Last year I had straight piped my 1997 6.5TD Wagon. It blew black smoke upon accelerating up hill or hard from stop. However about a month ago, it stopped totally blowing smoke. No error codes or other worrying issues, but it is down on power on high end of rev range. Put on new lift pump but changed nothing. Could it be PMD module, injectors, injector pump, or another issue like fuel filter? I am just concerned as to why this happened and any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Landon
