I have a case open with them as well. I haven't taken my H3 in to the dealership yet, so understandably they won't do anything for me until I pay a dealership to re-diagnosis the issue that a local repair shop just did for ~$300. So now I am looking at spending another ~$150 to have the dealership re-diagnosis the issue just so I can find out if GM customer assistance will do anything for me. The Dealership already said if that is indeed the issue (which they sound very familiar with) then I am looking at a $3500 repair.

Also I asked the Hummer service rep at my local dealership what the likely hood of GM customer assistance covering any part of this repair and he said that he has never seen them cover any part of that kind of repair that far out of warranty. So I dont have very high hopes for GM at this point.

If you make any progress one way or the other please share!

So after arguing and arguing with GM and the Hummer Assistance people they will not pay one cent for this crap. Even though they know they built this Hummer like this and it is their fault they act like they could care less. I am very angry with the customer assistance they provide and I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from them again. I don't see how they wouldn't help someone who paid $17k not even two years ago for their piece of crap!!!!!!!!!! So frustrating.

Ok mine is all fixed for the head problem and they also had to install a new timing chain as some how it got streched because of bad head....I actually took it to one dealer with no satisfaction,so if you have this problem and by the way mine is a 2008 that had bad head, take it to another dealership with a decent service manager...that makes all the difference in the world,,,

Has anyone had any luck with Christian at Chevy? I am still so angry about this don't know what to do. My 2006 H3 is parked in the drive way not going anywhere and there is nothing I can do about it! Sure am glad I paid 17 thousand dollars for something that was going to break down not even 2 years later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any up for a Class Act?
