VXDIAG NANO Software
who here has messed with one of these VXDIAG Nano's....i am trying to get the one i have to work with TECH2WIN but i keep getting stuck with the tech2win software not seeing my nano....and all the files on the net are either not there anymore or are broken files....if anyone has a reliable site to get the files from please share....
yes it connects to VX just fine...the snag i have is when i load tech2win i never get the "select manufacture" and the next screen "select interface you want to use"....it just goes right to the tech2win software without seeing the nano
I recently use the download from VXdiagShop and it works for me,
There have been some updates recently for the nano and the manager so make sure you have updated the firmware and the licenses

when tech2win opens without seeing the nano is there time on the lease? At the lower right hand corner of the tech2win screen there is a small picture of a lock with a number within parentheses, is the lock open and there a number other than 0?

Looking at the latest version tech2win for the nano does not have the lock, it has a thumbtack so disregard that but make sure there is a number other than 0 at the lower right hand side of the tech2win screen.

legerwn....yes it has all that....it's def not locked....when i start the tech2win app it does not ask me to pick "mdi" and then the second screen the j2435 which is the nano.....it just goes right into the software without actually being connected to the nano.....it's missing that part in order to be operational....all the vx manager and the nano on that screen looks good...i am missing something either in vx manager or mdi software i think
well....i think i figured out the issue....i have been trying to. install this on a surface pro 5 for what i'd guess 100 times and it always would come up and not find the nano in the tech2win software.....i dug up an old laptop i had loaded all the software on it and boom went right to working....flawless
i think the issue with surface's is the com port/usb .....for some reason the software just doesnt like it
if anyone can ever get a surface up and running with the tech2win software i'd sure be interested in how they did it
