My H2 is in the body shop waiting on a hood replacement for almost a month now.

Anybody have this situation or know a place that has parts in stock?

I am just a little concerned that this is going to be the case with other parts if this is just the beginning. Damn it :-)

 

check newgmparts.com. They know all and can tell you if its on backorder or not.

 

Yep.. same problem. They won't be able to tell me when it will be available. This is insane..

I have a couple leads at other places hopefully they will pan out.

Just for what its worth, dont be upset.

I ordered some body panels last month from newgmparts and they said all of that stuff is on backorder.

The reason they say that is they want to build it when an order comes in. I am pretty sure all that stuff is built in Canada. I could be wrong.

Anyways all of that stuff is set to "National Backorder" and when they get an order they make it. May take a week to build then a week to ship.

I ordered my stuff and a week and a half later it showed up.

Dont worry its coming. If you call those guys at newgmparts.com they will fill you in on everything.
Part supply should not be a problem.
